Razavi Holy Shrine filled with happiness and delight at the night of Imam Jawad's birthday

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) -  Mr. Farahzad in the ceremony which was held at Imam Khomeini Portico with presence of thousands of people who came to the Razavi Holy Shrine to congratulate Imam Reza (A) asserted: The 9th Imam of Shi’ites, Hazrat Imam Jawad (A), was born in Medina in 195 A.H. Imam Muhammad Taqi (A) was eight years old when he lost his father.

This lecturer of Islamic Seminary and university declared: Hazrat Jawad (A) lived in an era that different Islamic and non-Islamic sects had emerged; great scientists and scholars lived in that period; the science and technology of different nations were improved; and a lot of books were translated in Arabic and were available for people.

He added: Imam Jawad (A) entered the scientific discussions when he was very young and expanded the Islamic Ordinances with the divine power of Imamate which was inspired from God like his fathers and ancestors, and trained and guided people and answered to a lot of questions.

He said that the word "Jawad" is derived from "Joud" which means generosity and mercy and is one of the epithets of Allah, asserting: The assignment of this epithet to Imam Jawad (A) is because of his generosity; he always helped the needy people and was one of the most generous and merciful people in that era.

It is reminded that the ceremony of birthday anniversary of Imam Jawad (A) held by the Assistance Office of Islamic Relations and Propagation of Astan Quds Razavi came to end with eulogy of panegyrist of Ahlul Bayt (A).
